ConsenSys is a venture production studio which builds decentralized applications and developer and end-user tools for blockchain ecosystems, primarily on Ethereum. An example of just one of their products is Grid+, a project aimed at changing the way electricity is consumed and even traded. ConsenSys creates tools like Truffle which most Ethereum dApp developers use!
We will have two speakers joining us:
Will Kingis a Project Manager and skilled programmer. He will be here to represent the business side of ConsenSys and will answer any business related questions, but is certainly experienced enough to comment on the technical side.
Joe Benderis a Decentralization Engineer. He currently develops decentralized applications at ConsenSys. He will be here to talk about any interesting technical questions you may have!

Perianne Boring from the Chamber of Digital Commerce and
Jordan Kruger from Bloq for an online panel on Monday, October 16 at 6:00pm in Stuzin Hall room 103! We will ask them a variety of questions about blockchain technology, Gator experiences, economics, and more!

Perianne Boringgraduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics. Perianne founded the Chamber of Digital Commerce building it into the world’s largest trade association representing the blockchain industry. Perianne was named among CoinDesk’s “10 Most Influential People in Blockchain 2016” and “Top Woman in Bitcoin 2015” for her public policy accomplishments. Perianne is a communications expert and avid public speaker. She has presented at leading industry events including the Consumer Electronic Show (“CES”), Money 20/20, South by Southwest and many others. She also contributes to Forbes through her column, “The Beauty of the Blockchain.” Prior to forming the Chamber, Perianne was a television host and anchor of an international finance program that aired in more than 100 countries to over 650 million viewers. Ms. Boring began her career as a legislative analyst in the U.S. House of Representatives, advising on finance, economics, tax and healthcare policy.
Jordan Krugergraduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in animal science. Afterwards, she went on to Georgetown University to complete a masters degree in biochemistry and molecular biology - bioinformatics. While at Georgetown, she researched at the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, which resulted in her co-authoring two publications. Jordan would later join Bloq as a data scientist, and now holds the Director of Research and Operations role at Bloq. Additionally, Jordan is a research fellow at the Chamber of Digital Commerce
